Hello Everyone!! Maayong Gabii!
Not a lot has happened this week. Its kind of been a routine week which is nice. That is so awesme you had the missinaries over for FHE! Ive been meaning to tell you that yu shoud have them over so that's awesme that you did! Sorry this keyboard is really awful so it's going to a bad typed email. Worse than usual haha. Anyway that is so awesme you had them over! We love when members invite us over for dinner and FHEs. And Jimmer thats so cool! Keep trying to look for opportunities to share and really listen to the spirit becasue the Spirit knows all things and will tell you what you shoud say. Its hard and takes practice but its true. Focus on asking inspired quesions. That is the key and that's how the Savior taught. He always allowed the people t think for themselves and learn frm the Spirit and then he added to their response and learning. That's been the focus of our mission, asking inspired questions. Anyway but that is so awesome! Keep it up! So a quick update on JJ. He is really catching fire. It's been so fun to watch. When me and Elder Murdock taught him he didn't have the biggest desire to really progress but all of the sudden he has caught fire. He is coming to church and asking us questions which means he is really thinking about thinsg. And he is sharing scripture thoughts with us every lesson as the assinment we give him. It has been so fun and so satisfying to watch. I'm so grateful for the chance i have to be here watching this change. So yeah Feb 8 is looking like the day which will be right before I transfer so that's awesme! Things are goin well here in Tagbi. Elder Ymas is awesme and the other elders in our house are aweswme too. It's been reallly fun. We have a good time together. One more quick thing about grace. Robert Millet's bookk or soomthing on grace is awesme. ive been listening to that and it's amazing. He said the ne thing he wished he wouldve known and understood more about when he was young is grace. He said he probably wouldve lived a little differently not that he has regrets but he said he would have lived a litte differently had he really understood grace. I thought that was interesting. But lately ive also thught a lot about small and simple things great things are brought to pass. This is such an amazing principle to me and so merciful. All the Lord asks us to do are small and simple things. I'm startig to see the importance of just doing little things everyday. I know bac at home its super busy and you all have a lot of stuff to do but tha's the amazing thing is the Lord just asks us t do small and simple things. I'm also findin the importance of just taking a little time like 5 or ten mintues to jus ponder and think. I've been doing that lately on the trikes or in the house and it's amazing what it does. I am able t just feel Heavenly Father's love for me and for everyone. I know that by smal and simple thing great things are brought to pass. My challenge to all of you is to just take a little time to think and ponder and read a few verses a little bit every day if you aren't already. If you have more time than thats awesome but even 10 minues is good. I promise yu all tht if yu do that you feel the Spirit and Heavenly Father and Christ's love for you nt just at that mment but always. Nephi described that love as the most joyus to the soul. I testify that that is true. I love you all. I love this gospel. I love our Heavenly Father and Savior. I am so grateful for their mercy towards me. I love and pray for you all!!
Love,
Elder Fox
